Managing money is hard. It’s especially hard in today’s economy and political climate. But we’re not alone.

Money Confessionals’ mission is simple: We’re a small group of fans who loved reading Money Diaries, so we decided to get together and try this experiment.

Each week, we’ll publish submissions from two diarists. If things go really well and we get lots of submissions, we might increase the frequency! We’ll listen to feedback from readers on what types of diaries you’d like to see and what kinds of questions you want answered, and we’ll shift our focus accordingly.

We’re a community-run blog and not a global news outlet, but we still believe in paying our contributors. We know that writing a diary takes a lot of work. Right now, we’re paying $25 per diary that gets published and will do our best to always compensate fairly.
